Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the Tibetan New Year and holds great importance in Shambhala Buddhism.
The Year of the Iron Mouse honors the mouse as the first symbol in the Asian astrological cycle, and is therefore associated with new beginnings. On this 2020 Shambhala New Year, we renew our trust in the basic goodness that brings us together.
We share these holidays and honor the traditions by coming together on Shambhala Day to reflect on the year passed and set good intentions for the year to come.
