Barbara Condron

Author and dream scholar Barbara Condron shares the story of Kuan Yin through three legends. These stories convey how Kuan Yin came to symbolize the goddess of love and mercy for millions of people. So beloved by the Chinese people, over four centuries they wrote poetry in her honor. Of these, only 100 Verses were chosen to be passed down through the generations.

In modern times, vessels that hold bamboo sticks can be found throughout Asia. Each stick is numbered and there are always 100. When people want to feel connected to the divine feminine, they take out a stick and read that verse as the answer to their prayer.

During this experiential presentation, participants will create their own set of sticks as the 100 Verses are read. Each participant also will receive a copy of Barbara’s book The Taraka Yoga of Kuan Yin, which includes the verses.

Book and materials are included in the ticket price and early registration is encouraged as seating space is limited to 24 for this event.
