The Red Tent

Bringing together ideas presented in Anita Diamant’s novel (The Red Tent) and knowledge of modern women’s need for space and time for nurturing, self-care, connection, and sisterhood – the modern Red Tent movement is happening all over the world.  Women are gathering to honor and celebrate the diverse experiences of women of all religious and cultural backgrounds, and each red tent meeting honors this connection to all women through time and place.

After attending and benefitting from women’s retreats, three local women were inspired, in April of 2016, to begin a monthly women’s gathering to serve the St. Louis Community.   In the St Louis Red Tent, women of all ages meet to connect with each other, speak, and listen from the heart.  We meet on the second Sunday of every month from 6-8 pm in the Shrine Room at the St Louis Wellness Center.

When: The 2nd Sunday of Every month from 6 - 8pm

Suggested donation: $5-$10 and snacks to share (optional)
