Michelle’s approach to working with clients is to honor each person and work in collaboration with them to bring about peace, stability, and insight into their lives. Her style is holistic. This style takes into consideration all contributing factors of physical and emotional stress, including the roles of body, mind, spirituality, environment, and culture in our lives. She incorporates the techniques of relaxation and guided imagery into meetings with clients. She works with clients on issues of spirituality, anxiety, depression, life transitions, GLBT, grief, career, relationships and stress management. Study and trainings include work in reiki, integrated energy therapy, Integral Life Practice, chakra work, meditation, and past life regression therapy.
Past-life regression therapy has now gained widespread recognition as a therapeutic model. This wonderful form of therapy can help a client find a new level of healing for his/her body, mind, spirit, and relationships. Clients can harness the power of love and understanding to transform their lives with this revolutionary approach to self-exploration. Michelle’s formal education includes a master’s degree from the University of Missouri, St. Louis’s community counseling program where she received the Outstanding Graduate Award from the faculty. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in business.
Additional trainings include the Psychotherapy Development and Enrichment Program at Care and Counseling, Inc., student training at the Washington University counseling center, and gestalt therapy training. Michelle is also a graduate of the Care and Counseling residency program.
