FLOW AND STRETCH YOGA CLASS
Tuesdays from 7:30 – 8:45 p.m.
Flow and Stretch is a combination of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, taught by MaryBeth Peasall. First, the class will slowly flow through postures connecting breath with movement and mindfulness. It also will practice the passive poses of Yin Yoga, which targets joints, connective tissue, and fascia – those parts of us that often don’t get enough attention! Props are used to support the body to help create a balance between effort and ease. Each class will begin with centering in – a transition from the chaos of the outside world – which allows us to connect with ourselves and our breath. Each class ends with Savasana, a final relaxation pose to calm the mind, and reduce stress and fatigue.
This class is suitable for beginners.
